Haute couture is the most expensive available fashion out there. Twice a year the most demanded fashion houses of the world show their collections in Paris for incognito clients and magazines. Getting a haute couture outfit is a dream for every woman. This Spring/Summer season had some changes in regular fashion week’s plan; Givenchy told they aren’t going to produce couture seasonally – they’re going to work “custom made”. That’s quite sad cause Givenchy had it’s impeccable new age couture vision. For a change Italian brand Dolce&Gabbana showed their second “Alta moda” collection in Milan; behind “closed doors” for best clients and couple of best magazine editors. There were no pictures allowed of the show, yet some leeks did appear on the net. This time the model cast was a bit strange, from baltics only 4 girls did participate in shows. Top models from Estonia – Karmen Pedaru and Katlin Aas we’re working the Atelier Versace show, Katlin made Iris van Herpen show as well. Latvian girls Ginta Lapina and Denija Sarkanbikse were rocking the Gabbana’s Alta Moda show. Congrats for girls and hopefully next season will be more interesting with model pick for us!
